Surv — Honey-Do List Membership Enabling Independent Aging

We’re excited to announce our next investment in Surv. Learn more about the company and how you can participate in their equity crowdfunding campaign for as little as $100.

The Problem

90% of the “Silver Tsunami” are choosing to age in place, yet physically can’t manage their homes like they used to. The burden falls on unpaid caregivers (their children) that are burning out at an alarming rate or are not available.

What The Company Does

Surv is a honey-do list membership for aging homeowners to make sure their home and health are in good care. This includes landscaping, odd jobs, moving, seasonal projects and tech assistance.

Business Model

Surv operates with a membership model with monthly, bi-monthly or weekly visits. A 2 visit trial is $40/hour, while a 4 hour/month package is $140/month. Surv’s net revenue there is 50%. The company is also working with insurance companies and health care providers.

Traction

Surv has passed $2M in ARR and completed over 100k hours worth of work.

Founding Team Background

Founder and CEO, Patrick Brown is a 3rd time founder. To pay for college, he knocked on every door in his town and did odd jobs for older homeowners. he built life-long relationships with them and saw some of their health slowly decline and the need for his help become much more overtime. Helping them was transformative for him and he wants other young adults and homeowners to have this same experience.

What They Need Help With

Check out their crowdfunding campaign on Wefunder if you’re interested in participating. You can apply to be a local worker as well. Connect with the Surv team.
